Process:
My reinterpretation of the piece i was given came from a place of imagining myself as a translator of a language i barely understood, picking up on body language and subtle nuances of inflection to channel what ultimately sounded like some esoteric sentiment, a distorted, heavily delayed echo of what i heard.

Brian Raymond is an artist and musician based in Burlington, VT. He works primarily with metal, construction site detritus and electronic sounds in the form of improvisation as a way to make spontaneous poetics to form.
