Process:
Drawing from the poem "Grieving in Light," I first knew that space was necessary to create in the piece. I then thought about the theme cream and the swirling texture it creates and kept the color palette soft, while still highlighting some of the ideas and themes mentioned in the poem. I am currently taking a Death Doula course, and we have been focusing on grief, so this all seemed quite fitting, I just let it all flow out of me.
